Farewell From Boundless

A Message From Boundless

Hello, friends of Boundless. You may have heard that Focus on the Family made the decision to discontinue Boundless, its award-winning ministry to young adults. After a fruitful and fun 27-year run, Boundless will officially sunset on February 5, 2026. This includes the site, show, social media channels and events. This page contains content that explains Focus’ decision, what it means, and how you can say goodbye and share what Boundless has meant to you through the years.

Below you’ll find a statement about the decision, an FAQ page, and some thoughts from Lisa Anderson, Boundless’ long-time director and show host. We also provide a means for you to contact us.

Thanks for being part of the Boundless family. We are forever grateful to God for the wisdom, friendships, encouragement and memories Boundless has provided since 1998. You have been an integral part of that.

I've had the unique privilege of walking in friendship with Lisa since the beginning of her work inspiring others. As a single woman, I was deeply encouraged by Boundless — a Christian ministry that broke free from the narrow way the Church often addresses young adults and singles. Rather than focusing solely on relationships and marriage, Boundless spoke to the whole person. I especially loved the podcast's culture segments that addressed real issues in the headlines with grace and humor, as well as the roundtables where diverse viewpoints were welcomed and thoughtful conversation encouraged my walk with the Lord. Two experiences stand out in particular. First, in 2010, I had the opportunity to be with Lisa in London and witness the warmth and joy with which she was greeted by believers there. It was clear they felt genuinely connected to her and deeply encouraged by the show. Their gratitude and the depth of conversation—so uncommon in first in-person meetings—made a strong impression on me. It was evident that through Boundless, Lisa was making an international impact, helping believers around the world feel connected and seen. Second, as a healthcare worker in 2020, I was living through the strain of the pandemic while grieving the deep divisions in our country. In that season, The Boundless Show episodes 656 and 657 on Christians and the 2020 election were a true breath of fresh air. Faithful believers with differing perspectives engaged in respectful, thoughtful dialogue—something that felt increasingly rare. Those episodes stand out to me as a microcosm of what Boundless has consistently done so well: modeling respect, humor, and grace while encouraging us to live out our faith in real and complex times. Thank you, Lisa and Boundless, for decades of encouragement and faithful presence.
