Farewell From Boundless

The Boundless Team

A Message From Boundless

Hello, friends of Boundless. You may have heard that Focus on the Family made the decision to discontinue Boundless, its award-winning ministry to young adults. After a fruitful and fun 27-year run, Boundless will officially sunset on February 5, 2026. This includes the site, show, social media channels and events. This page contains content that explains Focus’ decision, what it means, and how you can say goodbye and share what Boundless has meant to you through the years.

Below you’ll find a statement about the decision, an FAQ page, and some thoughts from Lisa Anderson, Boundless’ long-time director and show host. We also provide a means for you to contact us.

Thanks for being part of the Boundless family. We are forever grateful to God for the wisdom, friendships, encouragement and memories Boundless has provided since 1998. You have been an integral part of that.

I started following Boundless webzine in 1999 or 2000, a few years after I repented & became born again. I had an inkling that my dating habits from my Before Christ days weren't exactly God honoring, but I had no clue what Christian dating should look like. Obviously there are no passages in the Bible that specifically mention modern dating. I read everything I could get my hands on at the local Borders & Barnes & Noble bookstores at the time, which wasn't much, & most of which I discovered later was inaccurate or just plain bad advice. I then discovered Boundless, & it was like a breath of fresh air. I appreciated all the advice & opinions from Boundless, even when authors had conflicting ideas. I started listening to The Boundless Show from episode one, it was hosted by some new gal named Lisa Anderson, who later, along with Suzanne Hadley, now Suzanne Gosselin, became my two favorite Boundless authors & speakers. I'm now married, & I still look forward to every new episode of The Boundless Show. Very sad to see FOTF close this chapter. I hope that Boundless can continue in the future, perhaps as a separate spinoff organization from Focus. Best wishes to all current & former Boundless staff & writers.
