Farewell From Boundless

The Boundless Team

A Message From Boundless

Hello, friends of Boundless. You may have heard that Focus on the Family made the decision to discontinue Boundless, its award-winning ministry to young adults. After a fruitful and fun 27-year run, Boundless will officially sunset on February 5, 2026. This includes the site, show, social media channels and events. This page contains content that explains Focus’ decision, what it means, and how you can say goodbye and share what Boundless has meant to you through the years.

Below you’ll find a statement about the decision, an FAQ page, and some thoughts from Lisa Anderson, Boundless’ long-time director and show host. We also provide a means for you to contact us.

Thanks for being part of the Boundless family. We are forever grateful to God for the wisdom, friendships, encouragement and memories Boundless has provided since 1998. You have been an integral part of that.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your ministry. I’ve been a long time fan (from Massachusetts!) who has been listening weekly for years and reading your various articles. Your ministry has had a profound impact on my life and blessed me in ways I don’t even know how to express. You have faithfully tackled the realest young adult issues out there in ways unlike any another ministry, with a no-fluff approach and an unwavering commitment to biblical perspectives. Much advice and support masquerade as “Christian” but prove to be no more than mere self-help couched in spirituality. But you were different. No other podcast has impacted me as deeply as yours. I’ve laughed and I’ve cried. I’ve been deeply convicted and I’ve been deeply encouraged. When I’ve felt most alone and like no one really understands, I could always count on Boundless to know my struggles intimately and speak truth into my life. Your kind of ministry is rare. Nothing quite comes close. I have truly been edified by your work. You have called me higher and helped strengthen and grow my faith. It was really special having a host like Lisa speak to singleness as someone who is still in that boat. It gave a certain credibility and weight to what she said that married people can’t quite match. I love how no false hope was given and how willing you were to sit in and wrestle with the multitude of life unknowns rather than rush to offer some flashy but empty quick fix. Yet despite the unknowns and persisting struggles, one theme continually resounded: the preeminence of Christ in all things. I was really saddened to hear that after 27 years, your ministry was coming to an end. I looked froward to the new content drops every Thursday. Yet, I remain hopeful for what lies ahead. I trust that God will use this time for His glory and our good. As sad as this is for me, I’m sure it is much harder for you. Please know that you mean so much to me and take solace in the fact that you have had eternal impacts on souls well ministered to and cared for. I wish you all the best in this next chapter and pray that God’s glory would be magnified!
