Farewell From Boundless

A Message From Boundless

Hello, friends of Boundless. You may have heard that Focus on the Family made the decision to discontinue Boundless, its award-winning ministry to young adults. After a fruitful and fun 27-year run, Boundless will officially sunset on February 5, 2026. This includes the site, show, social media channels and events. This page contains content that explains Focus’ decision, what it means, and how you can say goodbye and share what Boundless has meant to you through the years.

Below you’ll find a statement about the decision, an FAQ page, and some thoughts from Lisa Anderson, Boundless’ long-time director and show host. We also provide a means for you to contact us.

Thanks for being part of the Boundless family. We are forever grateful to God for the wisdom, friendships, encouragement and memories Boundless has provided since 1998. You have been an integral part of that.

So Lisa, the news is out! Listening to a radio show happens for me when I happen to be driving at the appropriate time. So for Boundless. But, although an irregular listener, I have really enjoyed Boundless. The best for me was the mini series on Great Sexpectations. I still have one of those shows bookmarked. https://www.boundless.org/podcast/great-sex-pectations-episode-247/ In one of the earliest shows, I heard you interview Julki Slattery. I have to say I was less than impressed by Juli that day. I was only just hearing about Purity Culture and the criticisms it was attracting. I could understand those criticisms, but at least the zeal of Josh Harris was something. Back when I was a teenager there was nothing. (The only attempt I can recall of anyone trying to talk to us teens on sexuality was a brave attempt, but about as bad in execution as anything you heard during the 90s.) So when I heard Juli describe purity culture spokespeople as having "arguably" good intentions, I was indignant. The prototype example of damning with faint praise. However, my listening that day was orchestrated by God, who prompted me to follow it up. Juli has become one of my most respected friends.I am a member of Authentic Intimacy and Sexual Discipleship. So I want to thank you also for that episode! Many blessings Lisa as you seek the next chapter. I know you could become a valued member of Authentic Intimacy if God so led!!
