Farewell From Boundless

The Boundless Team

A Message From Boundless

Hello, friends of Boundless. You may have heard that Focus on the Family made the decision to discontinue Boundless, its award-winning ministry to young adults. After a fruitful and fun 27-year run, Boundless will officially sunset on February 5, 2026. This includes the site, show, social media channels and events. This page contains content that explains Focus’ decision, what it means, and how you can say goodbye and share what Boundless has meant to you through the years.

Below you’ll find a statement about the decision, an FAQ page, and some thoughts from Lisa Anderson, Boundless’ long-time director and show host. We also provide a means for you to contact us.

Thanks for being part of the Boundless family. We are forever grateful to God for the wisdom, friendships, encouragement and memories Boundless has provided since 1998. You have been an integral part of that.

I'm grieved by this news. In some ways, Lisa and the regular Boundless writers feel like family. The first Boundless podcast episode I heard was the one where Lisa discussed her broken fence and I've been listening ever since. My favourite podcast episodes were the ones where David and Brodie Wheaton described God's faithfulness in their love story. Brodie's contributions were especially moving and encouraging to me. I've also been reading the Boundless articles and blog posts since 2006ish and I'm glad those will still be available, though I will miss having new content, especially from Suzanne Hadley Gosselin, to which I can look forward. The advice columns by Candice Watters and John Thomas and articles by Matt Kaufman were also favourites of mine. I wish all the best to Lisa and the rest of the Boundless team. I thank God for this ministry: for Steve's and Candice's faithfulness in starting it and contributing to it, for Lisa's faithful stewardship all these years, and for Suzanne's vulnerability. Thank you all! You have been such blessings! (P.S. Lisa, thank you for writing your book, which is sort of a collection of Boundless's best advice).
